For those of you who don’t know me yet or are just stopping by, my day job is photography. I specialize in high school senior photography and creative portraiture in Arizona. Photography is my jam and has been for most of my life. Over the years, I’ve been a participant in many photography projects – a 365-day one back in 2012, several 52-week ones and others that were specific challenges during a certain period of time. Each one I’ve taken part in has helped me to grow as a photographer and mostly, as an individual. This year, I decided to start one of my own. We decided to call it Project 52, and we will be documenting each week of our lives with a photo as a response to a specific prompt or theme.
This week’s theme is “Celebrate”, and I’m in love with all the images submitted by those brave enough to contribute as well as with all the words accompanying each post. I asked everyone what they were celebrating at the coming of the new year, or maybe there was a particular something they were planning on celebrating throughout the entirety of the year. Either way, the below images were a few that really stood out to me as well as links to the photographer’s Instagram if I was able to find it. 😉
