Facial Spray For Moms

This post is sponsored by evian in collaboration with Skip Hop.

I’ve been a huge fan of facial sprays and toners for a long time, mostly because I live in Arizona where it is so very dry.

Like, incredibly dry.

It would actually be appropriate if a dryer’s dryness settings read [Quick Dry – Less – Normal – More – Arizona], and if you put it on the Arizona setting, you know those clothes are comin’ out dry as hell.

I give my skin a lot of extra moisture even though I can be prone to an oily complexion. I blame Arizona for the fact that the skin on my forehead and chin can be peeling at the same time my nose and cheek bones are shining with a nice coat of oil. Facial sprays, for me at least, have helped balance this problem. Not to mention, I just love them. They’re fun and feel so refreshing.

One of our family’s favorite daily activities is to visit every nearby local park, try out their playgrounds, explore, and just get out of the house for a bit. Matt and I work from home so we have to make a point to get out of the house daily for our family’s health and sanity. Going to the park is easy for us and fun for the girls. It also helps to burn some of their endless energy that I seriously wish I could steal from them.

With help from evian and their Mineral Water Facial Spray, we’ve been able to stay just a little bit cooler when we visit the local park all while keeping our skin hydrated. evian is a brand that I haven’t used much but have been aware of because they’ve been around forever and…they sell water. I mean, even if you don’t know about their facial spray, you’re probably aware of their water, right? evian’s Mineral Water Facial Spray is a must-have for our Arizona-living family.

At first, I felt like it was going to be just one more thing to worry about having, but I was happy to learn they make a cute travel-sized version perfect for our diaper bag or my purse. Over time, we’ve figured out quite a few ways this magical spray has come in handy especially in a pinch which all moms and dads know happens more often than not with toddlers around. We’ve used the spray to clean up messy hands, cool down metal seat belt buckles in the car, and to spray Karis’s hair when it’s being unruly. We’ve even used it to spray Abigail’s baby bottom to soothe diaper rash. Karis loves to spray Abigail which Abigail doesn’t like so much but, because we know it’s safe for babies, we let her do it anyway. 🙂

Because we love evian so much, I’m collaborating with them and Skip Hop for an awesome giveaway! The winner will receive a Skip Hop Duo Signature diaper bag in Heather Grey filled with a 10 oz, 5 oz, and a trio of travel-sized evian facial sprays! We received our Skip Hop diaper bag at Karis’s baby shower and now, we’re using it for Abigail too. We’ve loved it so much, and it still looks great even though it’s been through quite a lot in the past two years. If you’re a soon-to-be new mama or daddy, definitely enter the giveaway below! I promise you’ll love your diaper bag if you win.

Good luck!
